Bushu Kan literally means "Warriors' hand academy ". Kaicho Amor awarded this name to me and the West Texas Karate dojo. It is an honor to carry this name and to be an official branch dojo of the United Ryukyu Kempo Alliance.
In September of 2009 we held a formal grand opening for our well equipped, 2400 sq ft facility. We were blessed with the presence of Allan Amor Kaicho, Fred Neumann Renshi, Anthony Rhoad Shihan, Greg Thorson Sensei, Bryan Norris Sensei and Tracy James Sensei. Together with these impressive yudansha (black belts) we officially celebrated the completion of our dream, a facility to prepare and provide for anyone else who wants to share in the pursuit of the old warrior ways. It doesn't get better than this.
